No. Legal Clones support your attorneys with intake, organization, first-pass review and summaries. They do not give legal advice to employees, customers or anyone else. Attorney review is mandatory for anything going out, including redlines, opinions and external correspondence. We write this into each Clone's Governance Charter as a firm rule.
Each Clone gets least-privilege access, approved by your InfoSec team, to only the repositories and matters its role needs. Sensitive matters can be excluded entirely. Every action is recorded in the audit log. We work with your team to set handling rules for privilege, and those rules are reviewed before any new connection goes live.
We measure it against your playbook. During the pilot, attorneys check every flagged clause and every missed one, and we track accuracy and override rates by contract type. Clause flags are a starting point that speeds review, not a substitute for it. The attorney remains responsible for every decision and every redline.
It changes where their time goes. Clones add capacity by taking routine intake, tracking and first-pass work, so attorneys spend more time on judgment, negotiation and advising the business. Attorneys stay accountable for legal decisions. Any regulatory mapping we provide as part of the engagement is not legal advice.
